Friday Nights are going live in Alachua!
Every story has a beginning! And ours is April 3rd!
And every beginning has a backstory! Our story starts back in the summer of 2025! It involves a few extremely motivated and dedicated individuals in the business community and a desire to bring growth and change to downtown Alachua! Then you add a community who is committed to their town, and you end up becoming one of the winners to receive a three year grant from the Levitt Family Foundation!
Levitt Amp is a multi year matching grant opportunity bringing the joy of free live music to small and mid sized towns and cities. And because you, the local community, showed up and supported our town with your votes, the Alachua Business League, in conjunction with Josh’s Place, will be producing 10 free concerts for the next three years! These concerts will be nationally touring bands and/or individuals and will be held through out the month of April and into May, and then again in September! These events are slated to be held at Skinner Park in downtown Alachua, right across from the Post Office.
Bring your blankets or chairs, sit back and enjoy the sounds of live music and the comradery of your local community!
