Every year the Alachua Business League has recognized a member of the community for their attitude, their character and their participation in the community. This award has always been called the ABLe Award until 2019, when it was renamed the Rosanne Morse ABLe Award, to honor Ms. Morse’s passing and in recognition of her devotion and support of the ABL.
The recipients of this award come from all walks of life. They include business owners, elected officials, entrepreneurs and civil servants. Following is a list of all the members of our community who have been honored with this award:
Hal Brady, Ava Hagan, Ed Sroka, Mike and Erin Gianikis, Rosanne Morse, David Flinchum, Clovis Watson, Kelly Harris(2) Valerie Taylor, Marilyn Vanover, Kathy Colson, Gib Coerper, Dayna Miller, Mark & Adela Rizzotto, Nicole Stroud and Julie Smith.

A – active in the community
B – Belief in others
L – Lead with style
Thus, E – Exemplify the Alachua Business League’s values.
